WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY will start in the Fall on Thursday, September 16 at 7 P.M. They will be reading and studying the book “Story”.  Mark your calendar now to join them beginning September 16th and meeting regularly on the first and third Thursday of each month.

TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY BEGINS SEPTEMBER 14. This group meets each week at 10:00 AM in the Parlor to examine, explore, and discuss the Lectionary readings for the coming weekend worship services. This group is led by the pastors. Come join the exploration and fellowship.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY will begins September 15.  Led by Pastor Lynn each Wednesday evening beginning at 6:30 PM in the Parlor. All men of every age are invited to join us as we talk about our faith midst the joys and sorrow in our lives, our work, our family and our friends.

ADULTS ONLY!

If you never liked Adult Sunday School Classes... we have a class for you.   We will begin on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 9:35 AM in the Upper Room. Get your coffee & bring your Sunday Newspaper & a Bible.  We will talk about "what in the world is happenin" and what the Bible and Christian Faith has to say about it.  Our format will be group discussion. Everyone's opinion will be honored. We will not have a real teacher, but Pastor Pete Posey will be the facilitator, or the one who keeps the ball rollin. Please feel free to bring a friend!

Christian Education Council

The Christian Education Council at First United Church of Christ provides opportunities for spiritual growth and faithful discipleship for children, youth and adults. 

Sunday School for All Ages

Children of all ages are welcome to participate in Sunday School (9:00AM - 10:30AM) at First United Church of Christ in Carlisle.  Children pre-K through grade two begin Sunday school and are part of the Cherub Choir.  Grades three through five are encouraged to develop a deep and life-giving relationship with God.  Third graders receive their first Bible at the beginning of the year.  Class time also includes Joyful Noise Choir practice.  Students in grades six through eight spend Sunday school time reading and interpreting Bible stories and connect them to their own experiences.
